I envisaged the pattern of this Heart to resemble mine – sharp at the edges and a bit broken. It shows how the light of love shines through the cracks and illuminates the room with its colours. When creating this, I was thinking of how Stained Glass Art embodies the process of hearts breaking and being reformed anew from the pieces. This window decoration takes the elements of classic window design to create a smaller piece which captures the suns rays and casts them around the room. This is made using copper foil technique and the finish varies depending upon the colour pallete; it may be copper, silver or black in appearance.
